Rock monastery Saharna
One of the main monasteries of Orthodox pilgrims throughout the country is the Saharna rock monastery, known for its rich history and beautiful picturesque views. The first written records date back to 1459. It was here that wandering monks found refuge. They cut down cells in the rocks and used them for life, prayers, and services, hiding from eastern enemies. Near the monastery is a holy spring with a swimming pool where pilgrims bathe. According to legend, when bathing in the icy water of the pool with the recitation of prayers, a person is cleansed of sins and healed. And also here is an important archaeological site where the remains of the Iron Age and the Geto-Dac fortress are preserved.

Rock monastery Tipova
The Assumption Monastery in Tsypovo is the only rock monastery in Europe with 15 cells and other rooms at a height of 100 meters. Anyone can come here and enjoy this amazing place, saturated with spirituality and the beauty of nature. The history of the monastery begins in the 6th century, when monastic cells were carved on the rocky bank of the Dniester. Over time, the monastery grew and strengthened, continuing to remain invisible to enemies - hordes of Tatars from the Crimea and the Bugeac steppe. There is a legend according to which in this place the ancient Greek musician and singer Orpheus crashed.
